World Cancer Day – Feb 4th

World Cancer Day is internationally marked on February 4 to raise Cancer Awareness and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment.
On the occasion of cancer day, Here are the the common signs and symptoms that may occur with cancer;
  • Chest pain
  • Breathlessness
  • Persistent heartburn
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Changes in bowel habits – persistent bloating, diarrhoea or constipation for no obvious reason
  • Blood in your stools
  • Bleeding between periods or from your bottom
  • Blood in your urine
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Unusual breast changes
  • Persistent headaches or fatigue.
  • Moles – new mole or changes to a mole
  • Lump in the testicles
  • Breast lump or breast discharge
  • Repeated instances of infection
  • Urination problems
  • Chronic pain in bones
  • A sore that does not heal
  • Loss of appetite
